With over 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity, James has led numerous successful transactions across Europe and Asia. Prior to founding taguaCapital, he held senior positions at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, where he specialized in structured finance and cross-border transactions.
Sofia Rodriguez
Head of Trade Finance
Sofia brings 15 years of expertise in international trade finance and supply chain solutions. Her background includes senior roles at HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank, where she structured complex trade finance deals across emerging markets. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a certified Financial Risk Manager.
Alexander Chen
Director of Project Finance
Alex specializes in infrastructure and energy project finance with particular expertise in renewable energy projects. He has structured over $5 billion in project finance deals across Asia and the Middle East. Previously, he worked at the World Bank and Asian Development Bank.
Sarah Thompson
Head of Risk & Compliance
Sarah oversees risk management and regulatory compliance at taguaCapital. With a background in law and finance, she previously served as compliance director at Deutsche Bank and risk officer at Barclays. She holds a JD from Harvard Law School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Mohammed Al-Rashid
Director of Middle East Operations
Mohammed leads our Middle East operations, bringing extensive experience in Islamic finance and regional business development. He previously held senior positions at Dubai Islamic Bank and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. He holds an MBA from London Business School.
Victoria Palmer
Head of Investor Relations
Victoria manages relationships with our global investor network, including private equity firms, family offices, and institutional investors. She brings 12 years of experience from roles at BlackRock and Fidelity Investments. She holds an MBA from Wharton Business School.
